Gilbert breathed before responding. It had been forever, and he did something he NEVER did. He hugged him. Long and hard. Well it was more like half of a minute and he eventually stopped squeezing him after about 20 seconds. He eventually let go after what felt like forever, then stepped back.
"....Awesome. The awsome me has always been great! everything is just hunky dory.... what about you, specs?"

Feliciano walked slowly inside the market place, looking around with widened eyes like he was dreaming. People who he didn't know, who were talking languages he hadn't heard for way too long. Could he possibly run into Francis or Antonio here?
His attention was caught by two figures who came out from the crowd not far from where he was. More than the two people themselves, what drew his attention was the fact that they were hugging. Hug, hug... how long had it been since... Eventually, his eyes focused on the people he was staring at, and realized that they were familiar. He stepped closer, incredulous. That white hair and those red eyes, and that brown curl...
A broad smile found its way on his face, as he started running towards them, waving and shouting their names, half laughing already. "Aaaaustriiiaaaa! Pruuussiaaaa!!!"

Lovino was quiet as they started walking. The streets were narrower and a little bit more crowded as they went. At this point he couldn't talk even if he wanted to, his mind was just going too fast.
This is bad. This is bad. ThisisbadthisisbadthisisbadbadBAD. NO. It's fine. Spains here. Israels here. Greece is here. They're fine. You're fine. You can't leave. Can't leave. Leave. Can't get out. Can't runrunrunrunrun....wait...breathe. The people here don't know who you are. Maybe they won't care. They won't do anything to you. It won't happen again. Not again. It's fine.
His hands twitched, desparate for a knife of anything. His breathing sped up slightly. His eyes moved constantly focusing on everything and nothing.
Antonio, please let your house be close.

At first, Roderich was more than a little startled by Gilbert's sudden embrace. No one had touched him like that for so long, he had almost forgotten what a hug felt like. It took him a few seconds of tenseness to ease into the hug, but he returned the gesture. When Gilbert stepped back, Roderich did the same, his cheeks colored not with embarrassment but with a newfound liveliness.
"I--" he began to reply, but was cut short by a cry that could only belong to one man. For a moment, Roderich wondered if he was just extremely dehydrated and was currently hallucinating, because the chances of meeting both Gilbert and Feliciano within minutes of each other were astronomically low. But if one impossible occurrence had already taken place today, why not another?
"Feliciano!" he called, spotting the auburn head of hair bobbing toward them.

Antonio glanced down at Lovino, smiling sympathetically at his pequeño Italiano. He slipped his hand into Lovino's, holding it tightly in an attempt to comfort him. "My house won't be too far from here," he announced, "we just have to cut through here and we'll be there soon. Then we can rest."
Ah, rest. That sounded nice, especially after walking for so long...
He hoped the tomatoes were still good.

Heracles was so busy looking around at all the signs of life that were so absent from his own home that he almost got lost. But luckily he caught the group in his peripheral vision before they could get too far ahead of him. He rushed after them, rejoining the group just as they rounded a corner.

His smile broadened as he saw that Roderich had recognized him, and he run directly towards him, wrapping his arms around his waist.
"Roderich!!!" Feliciano cried, squeezing the man in happiness. He looked up at him, without letting go of him, as he still couldn't believe he had actually found one of his fellow nations. "You are alive! I thought I was never going to see any of you again..."
He turned to Gilbert, smiling brightly, grateful of their presence "Are you two alright? How come are you here?"

(I'm going to go ahead and post. Prussia, whenever you get your butt back over here, just jump in. :D)
Today was certainly going to be one of those days that stuck in Roderich's memory for ages to come. After all, it wasn't every day that he was reunited with three other nations after going without seeing any of them for two centuries.
"It's great to see you, too, Feliciano," Roderich said, prying him off gently. He had never been the hugging type, but Feliciano's smile was bright enough to warm up even his old-fashioned, proper demeanor. The mood was contagious, and Roderich found himself smiling like an child... or an Italian, either one.
He looked at Gilbert before replying to Feliciano. "Well..." he began, a little uncertainly. Should he really tell these two the truth, that he was just looking for a friend amidst the wastelands of Europe? "I came to trade for materials my people need out in the mountains," he said, maybe because he just didn't want to hear himself admit that he was lonely.

"Oh really?" he asked, admired by Austria's will. He wondered if he would be able to figure out how to help his own people as well. He shook his head to himself, thinking that he wouldn't probably get anything done by himself; he needed to find his brother first, together they would be able to think of something, maybe.
"I'm here because I was tired of being alone." he said honestly, rubbing the back of his head. "I was heading for the European Protectors Station, but then I discovered that my brother should be here as well... have you met him by chance?" he asked, looking up at both of them awaiting for a positive answer.
Actually, he already felt lucky enough for having met Roderich and Gilbert, which wasn't expected at all and therefore was even more precious. He still hoped he was close to Lovino as well, though, and having met the two other nations made him believe that maybe, after so many decades of sadness and loneliness, there was a possibility that things could get better. Maybe not as they were before, but at least better than they had been lately.

Roderich felt something akin to jealousy at how easily Feliciano shared exactly what was on his mind at any given point. It just wasn't in his nature to be so open with people, and so he marveled at how, even after all these years of hardship, Feliciano could still be so upbeat and charismatic.
His lingering smile faded when Feliciano mentioned Romano. "Er... I'm sorry, I haven't seen him," Roderich admitted, but he followed up with, "But I haven't been here very long, so I'm sure there's still a good chance your brother could be around." He wondered why he was suddenly so desperate to keep Feliciano in a good mood; in the past, he had no quarrel with being stern with the sometimes annoyingly cheerful boy. Perhaps it was because it had been so long since he had seen such a genuine, innocent smile, and he wasn't about to let it slip away.

( SORY NET IS DOWN ;A; )
Gilbert grinned from ear to ear as the others talked, not butting in once like he would usually. It must hav been because he was so damn happy. And he wouldnt dare tell them what he was up to...

"Ah, I see..." a shadow covered his face for a while. Was he mistaken? The boy at the farm could have been wrong, after all, and there was no Lovino in that city. But it didn't last much: it was a really faint hope which had guided him to the Dry Rose, and he had already met someone who he didn't expect to. He had to keep hoping, resolutely.
"Well, I've also just arrived here, so I guess I need to search for him for longer, eh?" he nodded energetically, looking around in the square, as if his brother could turn up immediately just because he wished so.
Then another thought stroke him, and he turned back to Roderich and Gilbert, with awaiting eyes filled with hope. "Is Ludwig with you as well? Did you come here together?"

Roderich looked from Gilbert, suddenly solemn, to Feliciano. "I haven't met Ludwig either," he said, feeling obliged to say it. He didn't ask if Feliciano had seen any other nations, since the last thing the three of them needed was a downpour of gloom.
"Well, what do you two say we walk around town for a little while? At least moving would be better than standing here, roasting in the sun," he said. Truth be told, he would endure Dry Rose for as long as he needed if he could stay in Gilbert's and Feliciano's company. After all that time with no other nations, he considered this an extreme stroke of luck, finding three others of his kind in one day. He wondered what it was about Dry Rose that seemed to attract nations, because it certainly wasn't the balmy weather.

Israel, still in her search for some technology that would better her country, caught her eyes on a familiar group of people. Three of them to be exact. After fanning herself to makie sure it was not heatstroke, Israel turned to the people with her and said, "Wait here, I'll be back." before spriniting towards Roderich, Gilbert and Feliciano.
She crept up on them fast and managed to sneak up on Roderich and whisper, "Have a nice trip down the valley, SchmucK?"
(OOC: Notes, Schmuck literally means "Erect Penis" in Yiddish. It's used as Idiot, or Dumbass. In German it means Jewels. Take from that what you will.)
